Why St. George? Why Now?

Because 20 years ago, HIRH Otto von Habsburg—the last living crown prince of Austria, and surviving heir of the Holy Roman Empire—said to me that we Catholics need to show up to the meetings, get out there and do the work. Because if even a few of us begin to take action in specific and practical ways to implement Catholic practices and principles in our professional work and political life, then the world world will be transformed in time.

And if we don’t. . . then the consequences are already all too real and tragic even to speak of. . .

In the Americas, and especially in Europe my homeland, good Catholic men and women feel isolated from each other, at times even marginalised by some of the more powerful forces at work in society. This isolation is rendering you ineffectual and vulnerable to losing your way.

St. George brings together faithful Catholics across professional fields united in mission: to reclaim and transform our small corners of the world for Christ, and make our homelands once more the land of the living Gospel.
